A nice set of antique Ojibwa/ Chippewa snowshoes.  Notice the classic upturned tips and two piece design (one broken tip).  Unique mid section hide wrap protecting the outer babiche lacing on the frame.  Many Native First Nation people crafted snowshoes in this style including the Cree, Nascapi, Montagnais and others.
