This set of snowshoes would look wonderful hung on your wall.  Whether your decorating a rustic cabin, ski lodge decor or a Swiss Chalet they would bring not only warmth but a fantastic conversation piece to your home.  Hand built with thick raw hide lacing and extra thick wooden frames these snowshoes were “guaranteed not to sag”.  Likely still usable but better suited as winter decor.

C. A. Lund Company in Hastings, Minnesota was founded by Norwegian-born Christian A. Lund back in 1911. Skis, Poles, Boots, Bindings, Toboggans, and Snowshoes were manufactured at Hastings, Minnesota, St. Paul and in Laconia, New Hampshire. By the mid 1920’s and on into the 1930s, Northland/ Lund was the nation’s largest producer of Winter Sporting equipment.  In 1945 and 1953 Lund Manufactured suffered devastating fires forcing the company to relocate.
