These handsome 7 foot tall skis are hardwood - likely Maple or Hickory with pointed tips. They do not have bindings on them. Notice the tapered wood "ridgetop" above and below the binding plate. These skis were made by the Harvey E. Dodds Ski Company "The Ski People".
One point about the "Ridgetop" that is interesting. This was an upgrade from the previous versions of a flat ski - to help with the chatter or vibration from skiing at high speeds. Vintage vibration dampening technology.
