This set of snowshoes would look wonderful hung on your wall.  Whether your decorating a rustic cabin, ski lodge decor or a Swiss Chalet they would bring not only warmth but a fantastic conversation piece to your home.  Hand built with thick raw hide lacing and extra thick wooden frames these snowshoes were “guaranteed not to sag”.  Likely still usable but better suited as winter decor.

Northland Ski Manufacturing Company was founded as the C. A. Lund Company in Hastings, Minnesota by Norwegian-born Christian A. Lund back in 1911. Skis, Poles, Boots, Bindings, Toboggans, and Snowshoes were manufactured at Hastings, Minnesota, St. Paul and in Laconia, New Hampshire. By the mid 1920’s and on into the 1930s, Northland was the nation’s largest producer of Winter Sporting equipment.
