Offered for sale is an original vintage Burton snowboard from c. 1981.  This board was ridden a few time before it was retired into the rafters of the original owners garage. We believe the wood color base helps identify it as a 1981 instead of a 1980 model. The side fins had been removed and are not present.  See photos for description and we're always happy to discuss and share what we know about the history of each board we have.

Below is the text from the original 1979-80 winter season Burton Boards brochure.

The Backhill model is the ideal all-around board.  Adjustable bindings facilitate learning the sport and enable the rider to handle difficult terrain and aerials.  A great board in deep powder, yet equally capable in slushy bumps and packed snow.
