The Original Acquisition Story:
Roy went to the SIA show in Las Vegas as a ski photographer for years. In 1978-1979, he saw a small 10x10 booth with a couple guys sitting there with these boards (turns out it was Jake Burton). He bought one. He was a skier and tried it out a couple times (its not as easy as it looks and the ski area owner said "hey you can't ride that on the lift). He then put it in his rafters in the garage. We are the 2nd owners. Very special and unique board.
