Some highlights of the 2011 Beaver Creek Vintage Ski Festival held on April 16, 2011 are seen below.  What a day!  It's always exciting having a blizzard squall in mid April.

Saturday's vintage ski race was well attended, highly competitive in multiple equipment and costume categories.  Highlights included Billy the Kidd regaling his tales of Olympic ski racing.

Vintage Winter display is on the right in the photo below.  We brought a great collection of unique one of a kind vintage pieces for home decor. A vintage toboggan sled combination...10 foot skis are - tilt-able - from the steering wheel inside the7 foot toboggan.  INCREDIBLE.  Our friend the finder pointed out the unique logo on the top. Made in Vermont and a rare find in this condition.

Gentlemenly costumes, classic ski sweaters, and true old school ski gear really added to the flavor and the feel for the event.

The Vintage Winter booth was right next to the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum Shoppe, which was next to Apres All Day, and on the end was our other friends Vintage Ski World.  Congratulations to all in helping promote a fun event and we look forward to working together with you again.

P.S.  A special thanks to the Operations and Marketing Teams for helping haul our precious cargo over the frozen tundra, against ski traffic in a spring blizzard squall.
