Authentic and original white metal ski poles from the 10th Mountain Army Division that trained at Camp Hale, near Vail Colorado. Leather straps have U.S. stamped into the leather and the straps are still tied - with the original packing twine. Huge 8" baskets were great for deep powder. The original leather grips are in excellent condition. The shafts of the poles are painted "camouflage white" - to blend in with the snow color. These are difficult to find in any condition and these are in "New Old Stock" condition from the ones we've seen. This is the only set available in this condition.
