These could have been used as Downhill Skiing or Cross Country Skiing Poles.

Note: The baskets are made of bentwood and leather but may not be original to this pair of poles. The “pin” holding the basket has been replaced. Repair is a very good match to the original.

Decorating: Kids Rooms can be a great area to express their own theme. For young skiers, try antique ski hooks on the wall (keep those clothes off the floor), a vintage standing ski coat hook by the door (hang your ski pants up to dry), and childrens-sized wooden downhill skis and skiing poles mounted on the wall. Add a piece of artwork and a few favorite photos to achieve an ideal ski pad.
