A wonderful hand carved downhill ski racer turning around a gate, design thought to be from the House of ANRI (Italy) - but the German stamp on the bottom shows it came from a famous woodcarving region in Bavaria.

Note: The skier originally held two separate thin metal ski poles in his hands, which have since been lost—a very common occurrence for this specific vintage model.
