This is one of those sets of Antique bamboo ski poles that are so difficult to find. Original oversized baskets with unbroken bamboo and leather rings, original leather straps fastened with copper rivets to its sturdy and unbroken pole shafts that have stood the test of time. Likely built over a century ago by skilled craftsmen who valued quality. This set would look wonderful hung on your wall. Don’t forget to add a leather mounting kit to make installation easy. A bit of green rubber material just under the hand grips add color and character as this was likely added by the user to insulate hangs from the cold. The rubber also added gripping strength as the naked bamboo shafts tend to be slippery.
