A MINTY set of antique skis made by the Lund Company in Hastings Minnesota.  This set has matching Serial #7617.  Original labels are still visible on these barely used and beautifully finished skis. Leather strap bindings were the standard on these "pre-metal edges" style of skis. Truly a trophy pair to find in this condition.

C. A. Lund founded Lund in Hastings, Minnesota. Norwegian-born Christian A. Lund 1911. Skis, Poles, Boots, Bindings, Toboggans, and Snowshoes were manufactured at Hastings, Minnesota, St. Paul and in Laconia, New Hampshire. By the mid 1920’s and on into the 1930s, Lund (and later Northland) was one of the nation’s largest producer of Winter Sporting equipment.
