Included are two strip(s) of BROWN leather and four drywall screws for a simple yet elegant do-it-yourself installation. Our leather mounting kit is a great way to hang your vintage or antique ski poles. It not only looks great but works well to secure your poles to the wall. You can refer to our blog post for detailed directions on hanging your antique skis. Leather strips vary slightly in color and patina. Each piece of leather is hand-cut from durable buffalo leather. Ships via USPS.
Ski Pole Mounting Kits:
Come with two - 4" straps of leather, and four black drywall screws.
HOW Many "Kits" do you need?
Since poles are so light, usually 1 strip per pole will do the trick.
If you're looking to cris cross the poles in an "X", you may want a strip at each end (the grip and the basket ends) of each pole, which would require 2 "kits".
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Hold skis in desired place
2. Screw leather strip to wall
3. Place ski "inside" leather strip and "trap" the ski to the wall by screwing another screw into the leather as close as possible to the ski - keeping the ski snug to the wall.
4. Repeat at the tip and tail of each ski.
