A wonderful example of a Northland Northbilt skis made of Hickory wood.  These Ridgetop skis are in excellent condition with one good label, are UNMOUNTED (never been skied!) and have been cleaned with our natural oil and beeswax finish. They have numbers stamped by the footplate. A wonderful set of mid 1930's old wood skis.  

Northland Ski Manufacturing Company was founded as the C. A. Lund Company in Hastings, Minnesota by Norwegian-born Christian A. Lund back in 1911. Skis, Poles, Boots, Bindings, Toboggans, and Snowshoes were manufactured at Hastings, Minnesota, St. Paul and in Laconia, New Hampshire. By the mid 1920’s and on into the 1930s, Northland was the nation’s largest producer of Winter Sporting equipment.
