Offered for sale is this one-of-a-kind Sherwood #54 wooden metal runner Auto Bob sled with advanced spring steering. It was factory made in Canastota New York. It is in excellent condition. Made in the late 1920's to mid 1930's. It measures appr. 52" long, 20" wide and 7 1/2" tall. It has 2 metal foot rests, one on each side and an independent front steering mechanism that is as good as it gets. It has great original decoration but the key to this sled is the Auto Bob decal on the middle board. It is a 9.9 out of 10. Cuter than a bug's ear. The hemp rope is original. The best metal runner sled I've ever seen. The decal and steering make it a impossible find. You will not be disappointed when this one arrives at your house.
