This museum exhibit includes many variations of native made snowshoes – each with its unique story. Also included is professionally framed art with photos and text explaining history, creation, stories and traditions associated with snowshoes. Also included are antique Moccasins; the traditional choice for snowshoe footwear. Winter enthusiasts of all kinds will appreciate the history of the pieces in this exhibit.
