Antique Wooden Downhill Skis
c. 1920's - 30's, 20th century
Wood, Metal, Leather
75"l x 3"w x 3"h
© Vintage Winter

Typical of well loved (and used) vintage skis of this era - the original stain and finish has peeled.  We love this look.  We've cleaned them and coated the skis with a thin application of clear natural shellac which will keep any further deterioration from happening (and won't flake or leave debris on your floor or wall).   The remnants of a logo are on one of the skis - but they are a classic pair of pointed tip (indicating 1920s - 1930s).   They do NOT have metal edges.  The 3 grooves around the edges of these skis are unique (most of the premium skis of the day had just 2 aka "twin grooves").
