Skiing – “The King of Winter Sports” – (I like the sound of that).
Let’s Go! Feel the snap of frosty winter air. Enjoy the thrill of a down-hill coast and know that speed is life. Or let our bodies tingle to the exercise of cross-country skiing.
Age doesn’t matter. Skis are made for children still too young to go to school. Boys and girls of all ages love the sport. They develop radiant health, strength and grace of movement. In this athletic age, parents go skiing with their sons and daughters for delightful comradership.
Skiing is an invigorating pastime for those who work in office, store or factory. Indeed, anyone still young enough to love the Great Out-of-Doors can enjoy this King of Sports.
What brand of Skis? The choice of champions is the choice of all-THE NORTHLAND SKI.

World’s Records Made with Northland Skis
Nels Nelsen
Mr. Nelsen is now holder of World’s Record Ski Jump. Revelstoke, B.C., Feb. 10, 1925 Northland Ski Mfg. Co., St. Paul, Minn.
Gentlemen: On February 4, 1925, at a Ski Tournament here I succeeded in breaking the world’s record by making a jump of 240 feet. I have used Northland Skis for years and haven’t been able to find any better skis made. It has been my ambition for some time to make a world’s record in ski-jumping and I have depended upon my Northland Skis and our great hill here in Revelstoke to accomplish it. I am stronger for “Northlands” now than ever before. Yours Truly, Nels Nelsen
