Vintage Winter

Are you looking for ideas for a ski themed or winter wedding.  How about a 50 year anniversary for a couple who met on the ski slopes?  We have created and supplied dozens of products for events like these.  Some of our personal favorites are shown below.

Skier Bride and Groom - Vintage Ski Guestbook for a local Central Oregon wedding.  This couple grew up in Bend Oregon, went to school together and have skied on Mt. Bachelor for years.  They were seeking an "Old Bend" vintage wedding theme.  

With Bend being a classic ski town, it was only natural for their creative sister to seek out a one-of-a-kind ski themed gift.  She called, we schemed and decided on two sets of vintage wood skis for guests to sign in lou of a traditional guestbook.  

Instead of simply hanging them on the wall, we decided to create a free standing ski coat rack.  

In preparation for this ribbons were tied in areas where hooks and wood pegs would need to be placed.  After the ceremony the skis were sent back for assembly.  First we coated the guests signatures with 6 coats of clear varnish to hold them in place forever.   

Next we cut and finished 100+ year old barn wood for the base and top.  Iron hooks were rusted with apple cider vinegar and sealed with marine grade varnish to perserve the patina.  After all the parts were ready everything fell into place and created a one-of-a-kind antique ski hall tree.  You don't get more personal or memorable yet alone functional than this.
